      [GD-04] SembWaste Campaign



      SembWaste is a waste company based in Singapore. 

      I worked with my classmates to help SembWaste solve their challenges presented to us. The challenge was that there is a lack of awareness of the important role SembWaste plays in our daily lives and the impact on the environment if our attitude remains the same. I was the art director and illustrator for this project. 

      Our big idea was 'Think Bigger!'. We are targeting 'One Time Ollies', who are young adults who discard items after they had only used them once. We want to bring awareness of how the items are not just 'waste' but can be recycled into something more. The intention behind this message 
      is to encourage people to be more conscious of their every action and its impact. By being conscious of your actions, you are thinking bigger.

      Our concept was to create a 'Conscious Club'. Conscious Club is a social media campaign that we planned to launch on Instagram. 
      The campaign features a range of unique mascots that will be promoting the 3Rs in cheeky and playful ways. Each of them has a unique 
      and memorable personality that the audience can relate to. They help to encourage the viewers to practise the 3Rs through social media 
      posts as well!




      For our brand collaboration, we decided to go with Bober Tea. We wanted to create a loyalty system to encourage people to bring their own cups in order to receive incentives. As we're targeting 'One Time Ollies', we decided a bubble tea brand would be great as bubble tea is really popular amongst young adults. Hence, with the loyalty card system that offers a stamp each time they bring their own cup, they're able to receive a cloth cup holder and a tumbler with a very cool set of Conscious Club stickers!
